The laws of India have created a dedicated provision for the safety, welfare and protection of the children of this country. They have implemented the POSCO Act in order to protect children from offences related to sexual assault, harassment, pornography, to name some. The mental and physical safe-keeping of the aggrieved child is the top-most priority as per the Act. The Act has also provisioned for the establishment of special courts to deal with such concerns wherein the onus is on the other party to prove their innocence and others being bound to report such offences.
